Ocean Glory Factory Barge

The Ocean Glory Fish Processing Facility, owned and operated by Ocean Seafood Pvt Ltd, is a purpose-built processing plant established on a 250 GT barge that has been in continuous operation since 2008. Designed to serve the specific needs of the Maldivian tuna industry, the facility provides a modern, hygienic, and efficient environment for handling and processing high-quality Yellowfin tuna. Its location on a floating barge also offers unique logistical advantages, enabling licensed fishing vessels to deliver their catch directly to the facility and ensuring minimal handling time to preserve quality.

Ocean Glory is certified by the Maldives Food and Drug Authority (MFDA) and accredited by major international certification bodies, including the European Union (EU) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). These accreditations highlight Ocean Seafood’s compliance with the highest international standards of food safety and quality, granting the company access to some of the world’s most demanding seafood markets.

Through the Ocean Glory facility, Ocean Seafood processes, packs, and exports a wide range of fresh and chilled Yellowfin tuna products, all maintained under strict cold-chain management. Every stage of production, from grading and cutting to packing and storage, is carried out with precision to deliver consistency and freshness.
